Holiday Cottage No.8 – “Fishy’s Cottage”
Built circa 1825, our stone built cottages with exposed interior stone and original beams create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing stay.
Each cottage has full gas central heating, WiFi and we’ve also thought about our younger visitors too with high-chair and travel cots insitu.
For those perfect summer evenings we have BBQ facilities & garden furniture in the rear yard. Also outside, clothes drying facilities
There is a local Co-op grocery store, just a two minute walk away. Also within walking distance we have the beauty of Chesil Beach five minutes away and the quaint Cove House Inn which sits on the beach, serving food and fine ales.
For eating out, there are restaurants close by including the Blue Fish Cafe, The Crab House, The Boat that Rocks and The Lobster Pob at Portland Bill.
‘Fishy’s Cottage’ is the smallest of our three cottages. (sleeps five & one on sofa-bed)

Lounge-Diner: dining table and six chairs/sofa-bed & sofa with TV and DVD player
Galley Kitchen: Breakfast bar, washer-dryer, dish washer, gas cooker with hood and ample work surfaces.
First floor
Bathroom: Enclosed bath/shower and bidet, WC, sink
Double bedroom: Double bed with pine furniture
Second floor
Double bedroom: Double bed with additional single bed, with white furniture
Box bedroom: cot-bed (up to age 5), with pine furniture
